Field note

Pick accuracy by zone: what to show on the wall and what to keep in the folder

3 February 2026

Separate the numbers that belong on a shift whiteboard from the detail that belongs in the weekly pack for fulfillment leads.

Pick accuracy by zone: what to show on the wall and what to keep in the folder

Pick accuracy rolled into one site average hides the aisle that is quietly slipping. Zone-level views help, but only if the wall and the weekly pack show different levels of detail.

On the wall

Show yesterday’s accuracy for each active pick zone and the top two SKU families with mis-picks. Supervisors can reassign experienced pickers without opening a laptop between waves.

In the folder

Keep scanner exception codes, training notes, and multi-day trends for the fulfillment lead. That detail slows a live huddle; it earns its place on Thursday.

Language on the sheet

Use the zone names the floor already shouts — “mezz A,” “bulk cold,” “ecom south” — rather than ERP location codes alone. Assessments at Neuron Tempohub rewrite headers until the night shift recognizes them at a glance.
