Sequence by congestion, not only by ABC
High-velocity faces that are also physically tight should count earlier in the week, before replenishment floods the aisle. Aging bulk locations can wait for quieter midweek windows.
Leave recovery days
Block one half-day each fortnight with no planned counts so missed slots have somewhere to land. Calendars without slack quietly become fiction.
